1. Fuel factor
The higher the calorific value of the fuel, the less moisture it contains and the lower the impurities, the less material is needed. The purchase price and the level of freight directly determine the basic cost of raw materials.
2. Boiler condition
The new boiler is more efficient. Ash and coke accumulation in the furnace, oversized boiler selection, and inappropriate fan ratio can all lead to incomplete fuel combustion, resulting in wasted consumption.
3. Usage Management
Improper operation by workers, scale buildup inside the furnace, severe heat dissipation from steam pipes, and frequent starts and stops of equipment will all increase fuel consumption. If the furnace ash can be sold, it can offset part of the cost.
4. External environment
In winter, when the temperature is low and more fuel is consumed, the market price of biomass raw materials fluctuates, which will also change the overall fuel cost accordingly
The fuel cost of biomass boilers is mainly determined by four parts: the quality and purchase price of the fuel, the efficiency of the boiler itself and the working conditions of the equipment, the level of daily operation and maintenance, as well as external conditions such as temperature and raw material market conditions. High-quality fuel, well-functioning boilers and standardized operation can effectively reduce fuel costs.
